(Video) Hrithik Roshan's new Coca Cola ad campaign

Coca-Cola India has launched its new ad campaign that will feature Bollywood actor and style icon Hrithik Roshan. The campaign is based on the theme 'Jashan Mana Le' and is designed to showcase the 'magical power' of Coca-Cola.

The new commercial is set at a quaint street where a group of youngsters land up late one night to grab a bite, only to find all the shops shut. What follows is a tryst with Hrithik and a magical ride, which leaves them in awe.

Set in the context of friends enjoying their food, the cold drink brings life to the moment and transforms it into an impromptu celebration.

'It feels great to be part of the 'Jashan Mana Le' campaign. It reminds me of the time when I was in college, hanging out with friends, going out and having food together,' said Hrithik in a press statement.

'The emotions captured in the campaign of togetherness and celebrations, being energized by a bottle of Coca-Cola are very real and identifiable. I am sure all including my fans, would find this campaign extremely appealing,' he added.

Venkatesh Kini, V-P (marketing), Coca-Cola India, said: 'Having made 'thanda' and refreshment synonymous with Coca-Cola, this year we have decided to take the brand communication to the next level. Our 2008 campaign focuses on how a bottle of Coca-Cola infuses a stream of fun, enjoyment and exhilaration into every moment of life.'

'The idea of the new campaign is tell the audience how the magical power of the beverage brings celebration into the lives of its consumers. I am confident that the youth today will strongly identify with both the lingo and message of this campaign.'

The next campaign of the cold drink will feature its brand ambassador Aamir Khan.

Old Navy's "February Air"

Ever wonder what that catchy song featured on the new Old Navy commercial is?? Well after seeing it so many times during the award show season this past month, I have done some research and found this fabulous artist and song, both which I can't get enough of. And considering it's the last day of February, I figured what perfect timing to share this bit of news...

WHO: Lights
WHAT: "February Air"
WHERE: Her MySpace Page (You must add her as a friend!)

And just for fun, a clip of the Old Navy commerical:

Owen and Kate doing the "nasty"

According to this week's Us Weekly mag Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson may be back at it again. After Owen's suicide attempt, Kate must be ready to give Owen another chance at love. She broke it off with him because of the lack of attention she was receiving from him due to his part hardy ways. It's kinda weird that Owen, who's' knocking on 40's door, parties more than Kate at 28.

"They are hooking up," a Wilson insider told Us. Confirms a Hudson source, "They have definitely been talking, hanging out and, yes, hooking up."

Miss India Worldwide 2008 - Shagun Sarabhai

Sarabhai, beat contestants from 17 other countries in the diaspora as a panel of judges rated their talent, dress sense in Eastern and Western wear, and answers to questions.

Miss India Canada, Uppeka Jain, 24, was the first princess and Sabiha Hussain, 21, from the host country, was crowned second princess.

With several winners of the 17-year-old pageant started by Dharmatma Saran of New York having gone on to Bollywood, Sarabhai is now also excited about that prospect.

"If offers come my way from Bollywood, I'm going to accept them, yes, but I'm also studying medicine and I'll definitely try to blend both," the winner said.

"It was a little harder for me because I arrived a bit later, but I've always said that hard work pays off and this has proved true," said Sarabhai, whose only nervous moment on stage was when the top three were about to be announced from a shortlist of ten finalists.

"The question and answer round is when you're so nervous because you're faced with so much uncertainty about what question the judges are going to throw at you and what sort of answer you're expected to give. The other parts I was quite confident about."

Crying uncontrollably for the first few minutes after being named the winner, the new Miss India Worldwide quickly regained her composure to pose for the large media contingent as her parents who had flown in specially to support her waited in the wings.

Her mother Bella, a psychologist, and dad Pratesh, a homeopath were overjoyed at their daughter's success.

Commenting on the dance item that she performed, Sarabhai said: 'The song that I chose was done by Bipasha Basu in 'Omkara'. It's actually something that the women have to do in the villages in India to make a living. They have to dance in these bars in cholis and ghagras just to make a living.'

'It was Shagun's charm, poise and grace that epitomises the essence of the culture of an Indian woman that won the day for her,' said the organiser of the event, Farook Khan.

Sarabhai will be taking home with her a package of prizes that includes $5,000 in cash, gold and diamond jewellery, exclusive garments and a laptop computer.

My First Blinkie

I've been dreaming quite a long time that I could make a blinkie! I have asked a friend of mine, she's an expert at blinkie, but she seems didn't want to tell me. Yeah ... I don't know what's the reason, but it made me even want to learn myself. Thanks to friends at Design in Digital - they have told me a tutorial site, and I found a great tuto! I made one today, and here's the result:
