Different and Wonderful Easter 2008

This easter so different because I have 2 kids, and I can be a scrapper!
Meaning, I am be able to celebrate it with my kids and memorize them into scrap.
Here're some layouts for the kids ... one for each one ...

And I am resigning from DID ... because I am soooo occupied with my new settling up new restaurant and I don't want to be irresponsible for my layouts with them ...
It was my last LO with them.

so ... for you everyone at DID - you're sooo sweet!

Rgds,
Winnie

Thanks for the support of my first Blinkie!

First of all, thanks for all the comments on my previous blog post about my FIRST Blinkie!
I really appreciate all of you gals ... you're soo supportive and sweet!
Well ... I've been trying to smooth the blinkie and here's the result:

It looks better, isn't it?
Actually I got this tuto from my CT friends at Design in Digital (I told you all previously!).
You can click the link here and go straight to Design in Digital :)
but ... you won't find the tuto as I got it from somewhere else HAHAHA ...
so ... private message me at Design in Digital and you'll get the link to the tuto (I didn't make it myself ;) ) - my nickname is Charlize.
I want everyone to learn while they can ... 'cos it doesn't feel right to hide creativity while probably others have better talent to do so :p

So ... I'll be waiting for any PM at DID!

Thanks again gals, you're sooooo supportive and sweet!

Rgds,
Charlz

Raphael in Pictures

My first son, Raphael, had a wonderful holiday with us last December in Jakarta.

When he was on holiday with us, he met one of our friend's daughter named Jocelyn, she was called Josa. Josa has a gameboy and Raphael in love with ... her gameboy HAHAHA ...
Where she went, he kept following her ... looks like a falling in love boy ... but yes ... with gameboy hahahaha ...

Journalling:

I believe in angels,
The kind that heaven sends,
I am surrounded by angels,
But I call them friends.

Jocelyn lives in Singapore with her parents. Her mom: Evelyn, is one of my husband's best and school friends.
They were nice, both of them.

And another great news I forgot to mention ... now I am one of Amy-Leigh Fennell creative teams ... YIIIIIIHAAAAAAA ...
Her designs are just fabulous ... I don't look at designers but I look at their designs. Sometimes like french designers are hardly heard but their designs are also fabulous!
I apply again today for one french designer ... well ... let's see whether I am in or not ;)

I put links for Amy-Leigh at this blog also ... please check ...
and here's the preview of her designs:

and the new release:

It's too bad that I didn't have the chance yet to do LO with her kit, perhaps this week ...
so ... wait for another scraps from me :)

Scrapping Moments

When I was in Jakarta for few days with my husband and Raphael, I had to call my mom from my hometown to come to Surabaya, where I live, to assist the nanny that I hired taking care of Bianca for us.
At least I have someone I trust to look after my baby, so the holiday would be fun and relieving!

After I returned, mom still around and I made some pictures with her and Bianca.
Here's the layout I made this morning ... submit to Sweet Recipe Challenge at Sweet Shoppe Community:

I also scrap a picture of my dearly beloved husband ... a simple husband ... simply one ... who loves me for who I am ... (I love you "yank")

I also submit this LO for For Cookie Decorating 101 at Sweet Shoppe Community.

One person that's so special in my life is my simply husband Smile
He's so simple and humble ... he accepts me for who I am ...
I love him ... more and more each day!

I was inspired by the landscape layout photograph for those shoes ...
trying with wedding pictures of my friend's Yusak ;)

Journalling:
My husband has a group of friends.
Around 12 men in the group since they were elementary
school student at Solo City, where they were born.
One by one got married, but they still hang around together
Not only 12 of them, every new wedding party ended,
there's always a new additional member, the wife.
So ... it's now more than 12, some of the men are not yet married.
The pictures were taken last 29th December when Yusak, one of
my husband's bestfriend got married.
Unfortunately due to the flood at Solo, not all of them could
come attending the party.
The Left Picture is the Wives with the groom.
The Right Picture is the Friends, best friends, with the groom.
So happy that in this wide wide world, we still have someone
who we can rely on ... someone to share secrets, happiness and sorrow.

Our Jakarta Holiday Layouts

Well ... we were having a holiday in Jakarta. Actually it was for Yusak's wedding but then we also continue the trip for our holiday. Too bad, Bianca was not with us. Beside she was too little to be taken with, it's also for her own sake ... it's tiring!

Then, I used them for Heather Manning's kit ... it's my new designer, I am her guest CT for January!

Wow ... enough for the weekend LOs ... actually I have 2 or 4 more ... but let it be until tomorrow, or next week :D
WHY? I can't upload or download from office anymore, how sad!
So I'll be doing it from home ...

Well ... no regrets huh?

I am planning to have my daughter, Bianca sweet little birthday party ... so it's going to be a busy week
I have done my restaurant arrangemtn, souvenirs ... the next thing to do is:
Cake, OF COURSE ... then PHOTOGRAPHER ... and of course Invitation!
so ... beware of the busy mommy of the week, ME! Hahahahaha

Happy as always,
Charlz

Design In Digital Scraplift Challenge

Finally, I am able to complete the Scraplift Challenge by DID, using Raphael's old pic when he was 2 years old - eating Dunkin Donuts at home.
He was not actually happy when I took the pictures hahahaha ... but I made it and now it's useful to complete a challenge!

I am using a freebies from Blossom & Shine Kit and the kit was awesome.
I once use it for my own picture, it's not in any gallery, or is it?
But I made 2 identical layouts based on this kit, check this:
The first one is for Call to Act Project by The Digichick:

I called it Orphanage Easter for the year of 2007.
Click the image to find the information link!

And the 2nd one is my own pictures at Disneyland LA:

It's not in any of my gallery too :)
Which one do you like? hehehe ...

I've been waiting for my husband tonite, and he's not yet home (arghhhhhh it's already 12 past 21 in the early morning!)

Now it's time to sleep then ... all my kids are!

God bless, Ciao,
Charlz
